Recently the topic of compliance management and enforcement of compliance regulations in relation to identity management solutions has gained ground.

On Tuesday 2nd of September, Novell anounced a new set of solutions to tackle the growing problem of staying in compliance over the course of time through constantly monitoring actions taken by users and administrators. In fact, this is just what had been expected by KCP to happen, and which has already proven true through the recent announcements from CA (Compliance Manager, Risk Manager) from the IAM side and ArcSight with its Compliance product coming from the SIEM side.
